First Cocopeat Export Shipment by PT. Hendry Berkah Eksporindo proudly marks an important milestone in our international trade journey. In the past, we exported products to Kuwait, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Netherlands, but those shipments were small, usually only 1 to 4 kilograms.
This time, the scale grew significantly. We shipped 700 kilograms of Low EC cocopeat, and we added 20 kilograms as a bonus for our buyer in the Netherlands. The buyer treated this shipment as a starting trial order and also as a promotional tool to introduce cocopeat to potential customers in their country.
Journey and Preparation of the First Cocopeat Export Shipment
The preparation process required time and careful attention. On June 16, 2025, our team finalized all export documents. Three days later, on June 19, the container left Surabaya. Then, the cargo reached Singapore on June 22 and continued its journey on July 1, 2025. Finally, on August 14, 2025, the buyer in the Netherlands received the cocopeat.
As a result, the successful arrival proved our strong commitment to provide shipments that are timely, secure, and reliable. Moreover, the entire process strengthened our confidence in managing larger volumes in the future.
Export Documents for the First Cocopeat Export Shipment
To comply with international standards, our team prepared 11 essential documents:
- Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Instruction
- RoA (Result of Analysis)
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Fumigation Certificate
- PEB (Export Declaration)
- COO (Certificate of Origin)
- Bill of Lading
- MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)
- ISPM#15 (for wooden pallet with fencing)
In addition, we carefully handled the ISPM#15 certification because the shipment used LCL (Less than Container Load). We decided to use wooden pallets with fencing to protect the 700 kg of cocopeat from damage caused by contact with other goods.
